This is an advanced A.C. Variable Voltage Variable Frequency (ACVF) automatic door system, precisely engineered to stringent European specifications, and adapted to deal with harsh operating conditions and heavy duty-cycles. This inverter-based drive ensures smooth and quiet operation, easy installation and minimum maintenance as a result of the elimination of conventional kinematic mechanisms. This greatly enhances reliability and ensures a longer life-cycle. A variety of opening dimensions, from 700 mm to 1200 mm and more, are possible in both centre-opening and telescopic options. The speed and acceleration/deceleration rates of opening and closing speeds are independently adjustable to facilitate smooth and efficient passenger flow. The CAF-1 door system has a unique "door obstacle memory" feature which memorises the presence of any obstruction while closing the doors, and checks for obstacles during the next cycle, thereby preventing impact with the object.
