Value Added Features :
Elevator Announcing System (optional):
The system is capable of a variety of verbal announcements
in any language.
Emergency
Power Control (optional):
In the event of mains power
failure, Diesel Generator (DG) power is used to evacuate passengers
trapped in the elevator car between floors. For multiple elevators
the evacuation takes place sequentially. Subsequently one
or more pre-selected elevators can be released for normal
operation on DG Power.
Emergency Rescue Device (optional):
The Emergency Rescue Device (ERD) automatically
rescues passengers trapped in the elevator car between floors
in the event of a power failure.
Infra-red
Door Safety Screen (standard):
The highly sensitive full-length Infra-red Door Safety Screen is provided on the automatic car doors.
Vari-F AC Variable Voltage Variable Frequency
The Vari-F is an AC Variable Voltage, Variable
Frequency (ACVF) drive which has the dual advantage of a revolutionary
drive control principle that is custom-engineered for elevator
applications.
Excellent reliability ensures years of trouble
free service.
The vector controlled VF Drive ensures superior
ride comfort, accurate leveling and noiseless operations.
A saving of 40-50% in electricity consumption compared to two speed and single speed drives.
Reduced cost of power supply equipment, as smaller ratings of cables, circuit breaker units and stand-by generator are required.
Futura Control System:
The
versatile FUTURA series of controllers deploys Control Area
Network (CAN Bus) technology, using microprocessors distributed
throughout the elevator configuration to enable more flexible
control of the overall system. Each microprocessor is specially
designed for thought processing, which greatly enhances the
"Human - Interface" Elevator.
Each microprocessor is interconnected via a serial transmission
line to ensure high reliability and efficiency. The system
also shares diagnostic programs between the microprocessors
and incorporates backup systems to further enhance reliability
and passenger safety.
The distribution of data network microprocessors simplifies
feature operation and modification of the system, allowing
it to respond to the changing needs of the building and its
occupants.
The FUTURA II Control System comes with a host of Standard
and Optional Features.
